Good dinner (burger with bacon, carmelized onions, heirloom tomatoes and Katie's chipotle thousand island dressing, grilled veggies and pasta salad) with the neighbors/friends. Thanks Matt and Katie for having us over and cleaning our dishes. You make coming home something that we can look forward to.
Early rise tomorrow and then off to Toronto, Frankfurt, and, eventually, Paris . . . assuming the strike in France doesn't screw up the train schedules too much :-)
We heard about the strikes in France caused by the president wanting to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62. Also heard it is one of many one day strikes. Hope by tomorrow this one will be over with. Good thing you are planning to walk a lot.
